a question about the human tongue?!


Question: A question about the human tongue?
about a month ago, i got a tongue infection from what i think was a bad filling job. part of the filling was shart and then my tongue felt raw and then it got infected pretty bad. i took amoxicillan and it finally healed. now, i have to be careful about what i eat and i cant drink soda because it flares it up some. it feel like what i think is scar tissue.
my question, how long does it take for the scarring to get better?

Believe it or not...the tongue is the fastest healing muscle in the body. Lumps and bumps heal within days. If you still have a bump on your tongue, after taking 10 full days of antibiotics, then you should probably see a dr.
It might be something else.

The mouth is a cesspool of bacteria. Be careful.
