Teeth Bleeding While Brushing?!
Question: Teeth Bleeding While Brushing?
When i went to my local dentist about a year ago he did say that if they start bleeding while brushing then keep brushing them but never told me how and why they bled.
So i just wanted to know why they bleed and Does it happen to everyone?
Many Thanks

hi there, when plaque (the white stuff that grows on ur teeth after eating sugar, which is full of bacteria) isnt brushed away properly in irritates the gums and when u touch with ur brush, ur gums bleed, which means ur gums are inflamed and the only way to stop them bleeding is to keep brushing that area well, im a dental nurse
It is probably gingivitis. I think something like 1/3 people have it. It's very common. Try using a lighter bristled toothbrush. This used to happen to me sometimes, but went away on it's own.
It could possibly be something more serious, so don't take that answer for sure. I dont wanna be the reason you died of some flesh eating disease...
Probably gingivitis, possibly calculus formations around or beneath the gumlines.
Visit a dentist for an exam and get a good cleaning. Then brush three times a day with a soft toothbrush (in good condition) and a fluoride tooth paste, and floss once a day. In a week or so your gums should stop bleeding.
sometimes you need to do more than brush because you can get a multitude of things between your teeth and gums that will cause irritation and even gingivitus . I suggest using Listerine to wash your mouth at night before bed . this will clear things up and kill bacteria hidden away under your teeth . it may sting a bit but at least you know it's working and you'll be surprized at how much dabris comes out afterward. I have used it and I'm certain it will help you
Well, your gums might not be use to being brushed, if you recently changed a toothbrush, or changed the way you brush then this could happen out of irritation. But listen to your dentist, because he is right, keep brushing them and your gums will get stronger and will stop bleeding.
Hey, my dads a dentist. He says its probably becuase you have a tinie bit of gum disease. Its nothing to worry about, because to be honest it happens to me quite a lot.
Maybe it's also becuase you havent brushed your teeth for a couple of days.
Nothing to worry about! Hope this helps, and i hope it stops (:
your gums are probably very sensitive because my dad's gums are so sensitive that if you floss them, they will start bleeding so that could be a posibility for the heads up
It happens brisltes get in gum nothn much just do wat u normally do

Well, It happens to be when I brush really hard. Maybe you want to change your toothbrush?
