Why do I get frequent cold sores inside of my mouth?!

Question: Why do I get frequent cold sores inside of my mouth?
I have never kissed anyone besides my mom and dad. I brush my teeth with toothpaste every morning and night, and I make sure that my retainers are clean. I don't eat that much junk food or drink soda at all. I get cold sores inside of my mouth every few weeks now! I used to never get them before, but not, in the past few months, they are popping up like crazy. Right now, I have one cold sore on each side of my mouth where your mouth bends open in the back. It hurts to eat and open my mouth. Please help!

Answers:

it could be two things. first you might not be getting enough B vitamins. I suggest a multivitamin for everyone. Second it could be eating acidic foods or drinking acidic drinks. Lemonade, limeade, any citrus fruits, tomato juice, tomato sauce, sour candy, ect...sometimes it is as simple as an irritation from a foreign object like braces or a retainer.

I started using a new product out called The Canker Spanker about a year ago, to get rid of bad cold sore outbreak, I haven't had one since. I love this stuff and always keep it on hand.
