Question: Do you really need to use that syringe after getting your wisdom teeth pulled?
After a week youre supposed to start using this syringe thing but i cant just lug it around with me eerywhere i go. i know i SHOULD use it. But what are the chances that i actually get an infection if i dont use it that often

They never gave me a syringe. They just told me to gargle salt water after meals. That seems to be working just fine for me.



do what you want but i just got mine done and if you keep your wound "irrigated" which pretty much means clean out the holes with the syringe, the sockets will probably heal faster and you wont even have to worry about infection because you did what the surgeon said to do. play by the rules and nobody gets hurt.

If you just use it when you are home, thats enough.
You may not even need it if you arent getting food trapped in the open sockets. Use your own judgment on this.
