Im guessing youre talking about a dogs teeth right? It depends on how much tarter is on the teeth, if theres not much and the gums arent red or inflamed you can use greenies that you can get at petco or petsmart. I would still recommend brushing at least 3 times a week. A dogs dental hygiene is just as important as a humans and it can help your dog live longer. If your dog has a lot of tarter you should take it to the vet for a cleaning and from then on keep up with brushing and greenies.
