I can't take it anymore!?!

Question: I can't take it anymore!?
I have inflamed tastebuds. There is at least two of them. They are on the very tip of my tongue. The reason I have them is because I scratched my tongue with my teeth, excessively. Ever since I was a very young child, for as long as I can remember, I have had an unbearable itch on the tip of my tongue. It's on and off, but it's horrible because no amount of scratching with my teeth will relieve the itch! And, of course, I get those inflamed taste buds every time! Making my tongue virtually useless for several days during each outbreak.

Why has my tongue always itched, how can I make it stop, and where can I find some immediate relief from these horrible inflamed taste buds?
