Wearing the removable retainers after the removal of the braces is one of the most critical part of orthodontic therapy. Many a times patients neglect this part and end up with unsatisfactory result. Retainers are given in order to maintain the final position of the teeth. Physiologic changes take place over a period of time for the teeth positioned to be finaalised. It is during this time that retainers play a critical role.

Never the less since already missed the bus, n you dont have "faith" in your current dentist, find a dentist near you. The good news is that your new treatment should not take lot of time, since only minor corrections would have to be done.

am a dentist

try Dr Jeevan Mathai
09820198506
give my reference Dr AKHIL from chandigarh.

i had braces and when i finished my treatment of permanent metal braces, my dentist said i must wear removal aligners every night when i sleep.

if i don't wear these for a while, my teeth begin to move back to their old wrong positions, and when i put the removable aligners back on, my teeth hurt because they have moved.

so solution i would say is, go back to your first dentist, tell him that you think your teeth are moving back, or that you are not satisfied, and then hopefully he will give you aligners which you will have to wear while you sleep

the main thing is get the pain fixed, i am a male and i don't care much if girls teeth are perfect

sorry i live in london UK
so i don't know any local good dentists
if it is painful, and you want your teeth fixed, tell your parents you need an expensive dentist
