White marks on teeth with braces?!

Question: White marks on teeth with braces?
I have braces on for two months and I just noticed white marks on my front teeth near the gum. Is it reversible.

This could be from food getting stuck there or maybe the glue. Try brushing your teeth really well. If you have one of those brushes made specifically for braces (pic: http://www.drtheroux.com/oral/default.asp )
use it to clean in between and on top of your brackets. To answer your question, yes it's most likely reversible. When you get them off they'll clean your teeth and get all of the glue off, too.

I hope this was helpful!

Hi Clodagh,

See your dentist, and he will tell you whether the mark is a part of the enamel of not, and ask him waht can be doen about it.

I have been ashamed of my smile for a number of years and was too nervous to seek help. I was so anxious and would always hide it by turning away or putting my hand over my mouth. I always want to improve my appearance but do not want to undergo anything too invasive.

By improving my smile with a combination of techniques personalised for my needs I am now very confident about my smile and look and feel younger as well.
