ok heres the thing. first of all dont ask me y i let it go this far..... ok. i didnt have insurance but um i need to go to the dentist cuz i have insurance now n i have a tooth thats somewhat decayed to the gum. would they have to do an incision to get it out of there>

Not usually. They have specialized instruments to help remove the tooth even when it is down to the gum line and even below.
