Question: Humana Dental Insurance questions..?

I just got a humana preventive plus dental insurance plan. I had ONE question that I forgot to ask the representative, maybe you guys will know. It says free cleanings and xrays , 2 per year. But then it says this: X-rays (limit 1set per year, excludes full mouth and Panoramic)

Now the plan starts Feb 1. So if I go to the dentist and get a cleaning it will be free because it will be covered. But I thought I could get a full mouth too and it would be covered, but am I wrong? There is one tooth I want an xray on because I had a root canal a few years ago and it is hurting again. So that would be covered, correct?

Or am I allowed a full mouth xray once a year?

It would be best to confirm it with your insurance company. There are so many different plans within Humana I would hate for you to get the wrong information and be stuck with a large bill. The panoramic and full mouth xrays are not cheap.

If it says excluding full mouth and pan, I would assume they do not cover these xrays. These particular xrays are only needed once every 3-5 years.
