Can I eat caramel with separators?!

Question: Can I eat caramel with separators?
I know I can't eat gooey things because it can pull the separators out, but does caramel count as gooey? Its two days after my birthday and I'm getting braces for my birthday. They put the separators in today. My dad came over and brought me Twix(my favorite candy bar) and some other stuff for my birthday. If I can't eat the Twix, I'm gonna be pissed because these separators freaking hurt and I need something to take my mind off the pain!!! :(

Answers:

yeah you can probably eat twix just be careful and kind of chew towards the front of your mouth just in case. I have braces but i never had seperators but my brother had them and he chewed gum and stuff so i think you'll be fine :)

its not that hard to go 2 days without candy. caramel is sticky. just because it doesnt fall under the exact words your dentice picked exactly it doent mean its ok. it will cost your parents more $$$ an you more pain if you have to get them back in. just suck it up,and ignore the mild pain. pain is in your mind. it is posible to focus and concentrait enough to ignore pain. ppl who cant be put to sleep for surgury practice hypnotising themself befor surgury. they can be watchng themself have stomatch surgery without feeling it or much bleeding. you go into light hypnosis many times a day without knowing. my frien hypnotised me an stuck a needle in my leg. i didnt know he did it at first and barley bleed. the russian spetnaz (special russian forces during the cold war) were trained to feel no pain. i got alittle off topic

ont eat the twix. save it for later

my sister lost her spacers so much she had them for months. i watched a show on the science chanel on hypnoisis and some on the brain. iv eaten a twix
