your dentist will tell you if you need braces, or orthadontist or whatever

You can ask your dentist next time you visit, and he will give you his or her professional opinion. My dentist told me when I needed braces, and referred me to a trusted orthodontist.

Well if your teeth are squint then ask, no the dentist may not necessarily tell you.

Well, It Depends how old you are.
