Question: After some dental work, I have a big skin tag (with stitches) sticking out of my cheek...?
It's clinging to the side of my mouth, but every time I expand my cheek, if only by accident, it pushes it toward the inside of my mouth.
Do these things deflate? Fall off? Is it supposed to rejoin the gum tissue? I saw my doctor but he would only see me quickly, and just told me not to poke at it.

Answers:
Wait a week to see if starts to go down. If it does not start to deflate or if it starts to hurt or get bigger I would go to a different doctor and ask him to look at it. You just want to be sure it is not infected.
Also, did your dentist give you any antibiotics to take or a mouth rinse to use? If he did be sure to use/take them. And as your doctor said ...don't poke at it.
