I do NOT have gum disease. Why is it necessary to "clean" my teeth so !

Question: I do NOT have gum disease. Why is it necessary to "clean" my teeth so deeply that it makes my gums bleed?
I go to my dentist every 90 days for a teeth cleaning. I do not have gum disease. Why is it necessary to "clean" my teeth so deeply that it causes my gums to bleed? Cannot a skilled hygenist perform a suitable teeth cleaning without causing the gum tissue to bleed? My gums end up being sore for a couple of days following a cleaning.

there are many reasons for gum bleeding, but most commonly is due to inflammation or disease to the gum,or forceful, wrong brushing technique!!

since you visit the dentist regularly and your sure that there is not any gum disease, then its may due to the way you rush your teeth.

sometimes the deposits are on the roots beneath the gums,so the cleaning causes the gums to bleed also.
your dentist will be giving you a good mouthwash to rinse to keep the roots clean.
do proper brushing and use mouthwash regularly.
