Will a Monroe piercing affect my braces?!


Question: Will a Monroe piercing affect my braces?
This afternoon I am getting my Monroe pierced but the only thing I'm worried about with this is my braces. I don't know how far up the gumline this goes but I'm worried about it getting stuck or sthing and cause me to break a bracket or a wire.
