Question: How much does it cost to get my wisdom teeth removed?
I have dental insurance but i don't know how much it covers, how much does it cost (only 2) and can a general dentist do it?

We couldn't tell you. Why? Because we don't know the positioning of your wisdom teeth and whether or not it can be extracted with just some laughing gas or some local anesthesia or if you'll have to go into the OR for them to be extracted. Obviously the latter will cost significantly more than the former. So why don't you go to a dentist and get an estimate? Of course they'll charge you for x-rays to see the positioning of the teeth etc.
This will depend on what the surgeon usually charge, why type of anesthetic is used, what is involved in the extraction and how many follow up visits you will need. There is no way to give you an answer.
With my insurance for just two teeth it cost me $700 and with just novacane. Usually you need an oral surgeon to remove wisdom teeth as they are often impacted.
