help meee..give ur opinion?!

Question: Help meee..give ur opinion?
okay so the ortho said i have 2 choices for getting my teeth and overbite/overjet fixed. I have some crowding on my upper teeth...on the bottom only one tooth is crooked and i have a pretty bad overbite/overjet but its not extremly bad.

1. get only upper braces. it would fix the bad crowding on the top. my teeth would be straight but i would have to live with an overbite. need braces for 6-10 months. perfect upper teeth but still that one crooked tooth on the bottom

2.get upper and lower braces; have 2 permanent front teeth removed; correct overbite that way. have baces for 2 and a half maybe 3 years. but get perfect teeth

my jaw is done growing so no rubber bands or herbts appliances eitherrr

the cost is also a huge difference. and also im in high school so i kinda dont want braces but i do want like straight teeth!

so which choice would u picK?

thanks

Choice 1. Your top teeth will be fixed and you won't have to worry about having braces for too long. It doesn't seem that important to get 1 tooth fixed on the bottom!

Hope this helps.

I would Just go ahead and get both upper and lower braces. I had them when I was in 7th-9th grade, well more like 10th since it was the summer after 9th that I got them off. You might as well have straight teeth on the top and bottom. Braces, rubber bands, and everything aren't that bad once you get used to them, (:

Personal experience.

If you have to choose between those two, number one for sure. Almost never let them pull teeth for braces.
I would strongly suggest seeing another orthodontist or two, however. Get different opinions.
The first guy I went to wanted to pull out a minimum of three teeth and do skin graftings before he would even put braces on. Saw someone else, never had any teeth pulled or grafting done and I hae perfectly straight teeth with my overbite beeing much better.
