How Much Do Braces Hurt!?!

I'm 12 too and i got them. The first two days kinda hurts. Just do NOT eat anything really hard. Like. I don't know. Just do NOT on the first days eat jaw breakers or corn cobs. ouchie. Do not eat hamburgers either because they got stuck in your braces. In a couple of days-- or a week it should clear up. Anyway. It doesn't hurt when you get them :) Just stay calm and think of puppies or unicorns or something And I think some dentists let you listen to music Ask them about that :) Good luck!!

its gonna hurt!!! for about 2-3 days. my dentist always said to chew gum. i would always take naps so i wouldnt feel the pain. and eat soup! when i first got my braces my dad got me chicken nuggets but my teeth hurt so bad so i was sad that i couldnt eat them. i was 10 when i got them so im pretty sure you can handle it. (=

Yeah, they are uncomfortable. They are worth it. I have had mine for two years now. Have plenty of soft food available. Get a blender. You will be fine. I promise. Always carry a toothbrush, so you do not have yuck in teeth. The best part is use them as an accessory. You can always change the color of your bands. :)
