Question: Help my tooth and gums are killing me and I don't know why!!!!?
Ok so last week my tooth fell out. So now my tooth hurts so much and so do my gums. When I got my other tooth pulled last year I was told to put pressure on it whenever it started to hurt But now it just makes it worse. I know it's not an infection because it isn't swollen red or hot. Please help me and I don't want to go to my dentist because he just scares me.

To be an infection, it doesn't have to be swollen or hot. I don't think it is though. Try applying ice to the area where it hurts and be sure to wash your mouth thoroughly with mouthwash, and try not to brush to hard around that area. If it persists.. Well you know what to do.
Maybe you brush in that area too hard or too much? Make sure you are brushing/flossing regularly as well. If you think it is serious go to dentist. Wouldn't you rather have this gone than to be to scared?
