Question: Help? I cant speak and I have to go out tonight..?
So I got them off today and I have a retainer and I cant talk...but I have a party to go to tonight which will probably be like 6 hours. I'm supposed to keep my retainer in 24 hours except when eating but I cant talk and I will be eating on and off. Will it be awful if I don't wear it tonight?

Call you dentist and tell them you situation I think they will be fine if you don't wear it just for those 6 hours

Don't worry. Wearing them even for a day won't do harm. The retainer might not fit as well but it will still work. Just make sure you wear it regularly after tonight. Hope this helped and good luck! :)
