Do dentists go to other dentists when they need dental work done?!

Most do, they either have dentist friends or if they work in a two person practice its done for free...

some select few DO do their own and use a mirror

Working with more than one dentist personal experiences (seeing this) or taking with co-workers. i work at a dental office-my current dr. gets her treatment done by another dentist-which is WAY smarter.

I don't think they need dental work in first place
