Is it normal to not have "perfect" teeth?!

Question: Is it normal to not have "perfect" teeth?
A few of my teeth are kinda bent (not aligned), have slight gaps, and not shaped in squares -- a little chipped. I just wanted to know if it's normal to not have "perfect" teeth that are all well aligned, have the perfect shapes, and no gaps.

apparently i have "perfect" teeth according to my family that were never straightened with braces. but my dentist thinks i need braces now because some of my teeth are overlapping. the point is everyones teeth are completely different thats why they take dental records in forensics to find out who was killed if the body is unrecognizable. nobody's teeth are going to be absolutely straight. so if you dont like the way your smile looks you can get it fixed or you can leave it the way it is unless it is affecting the way you breathe or eat.
