I want braces really badly but I can't afford them?!

Question: I want braces really badly but I can't afford them?

It's not fair, I have a bad overbite and a bit of a gap between some teeth but I don't think caresource would pay for it because it isn't exactly needed, I just want them because my smile is terrible. What should I do? My parents are very poor and we live in on food stamps. It sucks so bad. Advice?

Love what you have. If that doesnt work i suggest you get a job and or hit up a dental school. they cant do anymore harm than help at this point

im sorry i know dentists are very expensive and your parents can not afford them. try to see if your physician thinks its necessary for your jaw development and maybe your insurance will pay for it! good luck!

Some dentist offices do payment plans or negotiate prices. If the isn't an option go to a dental school for free or greatly reduced dental costs

I'm not if caresource pays for it. But I know many people with other plans who get them, so it is worth a try...
