When will I get my braces off?!


Question: When will I get my braces off?
I've had my braces for about 3 and a half months now, and i was just wondering when i'm going to get them off. How long will it take to get them off if I wear rubber bands everyday? On average, how long do most people have there braces on?

I've seen ortho cases go anywhere from 12 to 36 months, so it is not possible to answer your question.

It depends on how band your teeth are. My teeth were very bad, like I mean my front 2 teeth like the one on the right crossed over the left and the bottom teeth were all growing in different directions because I have a very small mouth. I have braces right now and I have had them since grade 6 October so I have had them for 1 year and 3 months, and my teeth are almost straight and I have to wear elastics. I have to wear mine about 2 year.

But you should ask your orthodontist.
