i had a root canal lk 2 months ago and still never had the filling thing done after it. recently its been a problem and i noticed its cracking. today it cracked and someting came out of it, and it hurted alot. alotta pain. but no1 believes me cuz they say i had root canal, i wont feel on that tooth. but my solution was odd. i put gum and foil on it to act as a filling cap to it til i get it checked. is that ok? will i regret it? FYI its sticking very well

the tooth might be infected or the blood supply still there in the tooth.
root canal is completed only when the roots are filled and the permanent filling done.
