Is it possible to get rid of my wisdom tooth when its swollen?!

Is it the gum that's swollen? If there is an active infection then it is normal to give antibiotics then after a week extract the tooth. Infected teeth cannot numb as well due to the infection. Go to your dentist and he will determine how bad the infection is and if it is worthwhile attempting to numb it.
