can i still get braces with a baby tooth?!


Question: Can i still get braces with a baby tooth?
so i have a weird teeth placement... i still have a baby tooth and tooth thats sort of like turned to the side because it doesnt have enough space to be placed properly because of the baby tooth...

i got my braces with 2 baby teeth still in and they was never going to fall out so they just didn't hook the braces on the baby teeth and then pulled them out

i don't know about your situation but you might do like i did



I wouldn't recommend it, because if you get them so early you will have to get another set. But if it's BECAUSE of the baby tooth, then go for it.



yeah that's not a big deal at all the orthodontist could fix that in a second! if you get braces they will just not put a bracket on that tooth until it falls out and then it will be an easy fix!

Yes you can get braces with baby teeth but they won't put a bracket on til it falls out but if it doesn't fall out soon you may get it pulled

All teeth must be clinically suitable before a brace is secured. This includes baby teeth being extracted and fillings being done where needed.



Yeah, but the braces will push the baby tooth out.
