They numb you really well and remove only excess gum tissue. The mouth heals very quickly so you will not be out of commission for very long at all-and the results are usually very good-
Hello..In most cases the discomfort following such a procedure is minimal. Beside the Dr will provide you with instructions and probably an RX to take care of any discomfort you may have. Going back to school will be primarily up to you. Most people go about normal activities 24 hours following such a procedure. Good luck and I wish you well.
