Should I get bottom braces? What are they like?!

Question: Should I get bottom braces? What are they like?

I have top braces at the moment, and my dentist wants to give me bottom braces. I don't think my teeth are that wonky on the bottom. however I have had teeth extracted on the bottom; do I need the braces for the gaps to be filled?

I don't know whether to get them or not. What have been your experiences with them? Have you been able to close your mouth etc?

Answers:

I've got top and bottom and I rarely ever notice them. If you had teeth removed on the bottom, I can imagine you have a pretty big gap that, if you got braces, would close up with them. I find my bottom braces are fine, I never even notice they are there. When I first got them they did rub a bit on my gums, but that's normal, and I think they look quite good:)

Oh and you can definitely close your mouth, haha! It's just like having no braces, apart from the change in diet that comes with any braces.

Get them to have nice teeth!
