can you overfloss your teeth?!

Question: Can you overfloss your teeth?
i like to floss, can you hurt your gums by flossing too much?

Answers:

You can actually abrade your teeth with floss. The material of your teeth below the gum line is much softer than the enamel above. It takes years, but you can create ledges beneath the enamel, and eventually these areas can become sensitive and prone to decay. So floss gently.

Used to work for a dentist.

Nope. -Just don't use the SAME piece of floss- forever. It accumulates Bacteria, -& THAT's not your for your Gums- either. :(
