Question: Jaw problems. Please give me a reasonable answer, and i'm 15. Due to have braces :-/?
I've had four teeth out all together, but my jaw was feeling weird and i told the dentist that and she injectid some stuff into my gums, but she pulled the tooth out so hard it killed. However I cannot get to sleep properly. I find it hard to lye on both sides of my face. I went to the hospital and they gave me antibiotics which i think is helping, but i cant open my mouth that wide then i did before. Someone give me a good answer pleasee!

Answers:

Your jaw line, bone and gum area are all very traumatised by what happened and so are you!

It will settle and soon feel better but take some simple over the counter painkillers and try to sleep.
You will find that the morning will make it all appear to be a little better.

That is the worse bit over now. Try to remember that as you recover.

I'm 22, and I had braces right about then. Or maybe I was 13 or 14. Either way, you've just got to tough it out. I remember they had to pull my left canine out, while I had been wearing braces for a few months already, because a new left canine was coming in, due to a third set of teeth. Then they had to cut the gums from over the new canine, and put a bracket on that one. That was some rough stuff, I'm telling you, but in the end, it was worth it. I didn't even eat dinner that night, because my face hurt so much. But you'll be alright, you've just got to deal with it for now. :/ Sorry I couldn't help more!
