Question: Swollen Gums!!! HELP QUICK PLEASE!!!?
I had braces and my gums got swollen. They were taken off a few months ago but I still have the problem. My dentist continues to say use "warm salt water," which I told her doesn't work but shes ignorant.
What could I do to reduce swelling as fast as possible?

How supportive is your dentist with treating patients with Periodontitis? Not to say that you have it, but when dentist treat their patients with it they usually prescribe a medicated mouth wash. I work at an office and one of ours is Perio Dx-it addresses our patients with swollen gums even when they don't have perio.
