Do I have dry socket.?!
Question: Do I have dry socket.?
Answers:
Honestly I think the time frame would be over for getting a dry socket. It seems like something you would have already had problems with it before now. When I had my wisdom tooth pulled I did many of the things I should not have done, and thankfully all went well. It kind of sounds like the site where the tooth was removed hasn't completely healed. Of course you need to check with your Dentist, but I would pay special attention to that area. Using a very small amount of baking soda to brush with is natural for your teeth. Then take 3 percent hydrogen peroxide like a teaspoon and put it on that area swish lightly and spit it out. Do that like every other day. When it appears all is well again go back to your regular dental routine. Wish You Well Soon. Take Care.
It's not a dry socket. Dry sockets are excruciatingly painful and they usually occur two maybe three days after you have your teeth pulled. Maybe it didn't heal because you got food in it? I don't have any other ideas.
I have had dry socket twice in my lifetime and it is the most excruciating pain you can ever imagine.
You do not have pain--so you do not have dry socket!
