Having 4 teeth out takes a bit of time to recover from so it isn't unusual for you to be only able to open your mouth a bit. If you are still having problems by the time you go to get your braces fitted, then make sure you tell the dentist.

If this is still bothering you tomorrow then you simply make an appointment and go and talk to the dentist that took the teeth out.

You will not get an answer on here and he is the only person that can help you and you will then follow whatever he says. He is more than likely going to say that it needs to settle down from the trauma of the extraction.

The more you are focusing on it the more it will odd as well.

Hi ,

Bleeding gums is a common occurrence but it is not a good thing. My gums used to bleed when brushing my teeth. Since going to see my dentist on a regular basis and having them scaled and polished my gums are so much healthier.

They feel clean and I no longer have bad breathe.

My dentist said bleeding gums if not treated will lead to more serious gum disease which if extreme can lead to tooth loss but also more at risk of heart disease.

I was so concerned when he told me that he told me about a video which will help me to understand the situatiojn which had a link to a Free Gum report .

This certainly helped me and if you are serious about your mouth and health in general get to the link I have put in the resource box below.

Get rid of bleeding gums and get your smile back. See the video now!!

I had the same thing when I had a brace. They took out 4 teeth and my jaw felt weird...really alien. Couldn't open my mouth too much either. Stupid me forgot to book work off the next day as well thinking I was fine...cue the next day when there was blood all over my pillow cos I hadn't managed to keep my mouth clamped on my cotton wool rolls while I slept. Took a while to heal.
If you feel you have more of an overbite since they're out, don't worry about it. Once the brace is on it'll do it's magic. :-) Good luck.
