Question: What is the process of getting braces put on?
im 17 years old .Im getting braces soon. Does it hurt? How do they put them on?
Im very low tolerant of pain. & How long does it take to put them on?

Answers:

Im 16 , had my braces for almost a year now.
Firsst thing they're gonna do is do an xray of your
teeth, then they'll make you chew in to this huge gum thing
that shows how your teeth are set.
This goes on for a couple months. I don't know why appointments
are so spaced out :/.
They then start to put blue elastics inbetween 2 teeth on each side.
THIS HURTS. You wont feel good eating anything solid for like 2 or 3 days
max since you're low tolerant.
After your done with that they put in the braces(i had to have a tongue restrainer
first but you might not), it doesnt hurt really
it just feels a bit weird on your teeth . So the whole process probably takes likeee
a few months about 3-5. And to only put the braces on is like half an hour.
I really dislike my braces, but atleast you'll have perfect teeth after ..
Good Luck :) x

the whole process takes about 45 minutes but first you get spacers which are little elastics they use to space your teeth out. those are on for about 3 weeks. then they put on brackets which arent painful at all. the only thing that really hurts are the molar bands which are metal rings which surround your whole molar. they kind of hurt toget put on because they go into your gums. i got m actual wires pu on a weeknlater but idk i yours will but those kind of hurt because they start mocing your teeth bu you get used to it. overall it doesnt hurt that bad. good luck! and the ending resukt will be worth it!!
