pain after wisdom teeth extraction?!

Question: Pain after wisdom teeth extraction?
My husband just had his wisdom teeth taken out (all 4 of them) 2 days ago and he has had mouth pain which is normal but now for the past few hours hes been getting sharp pains in his left ear and on the left side of his head. Hes had migraines before and says this is much worse and feels like its inside his brain and his head is sensitive to the touch. So my question is: is this normal? should he go to the hospital? He says that it is bad enough to go but wont probably because he has no insurance and hes also been complaining the most about his left side ever since hes had it done.

That is not normal. He should at least contact the doctor who did the surgery.

Get him back to the person who extracted them. An infection maybe setting in. He should of been given a prescription for antibiotics. If he has them, double up the next dose, then return the regular schedule. If he is a large man, the dose may not be enough.

Note: Hospitals are very patient to get there money. Just tell them you a poor and have no insurance. They will send you a bill [for the full amount] every month. If you can pay a few dollars toward it, do it. if you can't, they will keep sending you bills until you pay it up, or they give up.
