Question: Why did I get orthodontic spacers/separators twice?
Last I got orthodontic spacers, they were really sore. Today I got them again and I think they are bigger because my teeth feel tighter. Today I thought I was getting metal bands. She put them in and then took impressions and then she took them out and put bigger spacers in, why? Does that mean I'm gettin braces next week? Thanks

Yes you are getting braces on your next appointment (depending if enough room is made). The spacers are used to slowly make room around the molars so your Orthodontist can insert tooth brace (or ring around the molars) in between them.
Personal experience. Had braces twice. No spacers on the second, just to re-straighten the front.
because your teeth didnt serperate in the back like they wantd.
