No. There are thee tooth layers-
1. Enamel-- the white part
2. Dentin-- the yellow part
3. Pulp-- the red part(nerves and blood)

Erosion takes off the white part which is enamel exposing the yellow underlying dentin.

So, the only way to get the white back is if the teeth are capped.

Plus-- you need to see your dentist to sort out the erosion.
Erosion could be cause by a number of factors like
1. Acid regurgitation
2. Gastric-esophageal reflux in patients suffering from bulimia -- vomiting here could be self induced
3. Eating or drinking of highly acidic food or drinks like white wine, unripe citrus fruits etc
4. Occupational exposure to acidic gasses
5. Recurrent vomiting from chronic alcoholism
6. Frequent exposure to swimming pool chemicals
7. Others

So, the medical problem might even supercede the tooth color.

So, see your dentist ASAP.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Are you happy with your yellow teeth? Well certainly you do! No one wants a dull uninteresting smile! Those movie stars on tv are always complaining about wanting better brighter smiles even though they already glow. The good news is that the brightness of your smile is almost entirely within your control. While heredity does come into play a little bit here, for the most part, having a white smile depends on your lifestyle choices: what you eat, drink and other habits you may or may not have. In this answer you will learn some techniques that you can start using today!

The simplest method for getting a whiter smile is to have it done professionally by your dentist. The dentist has products and treatments that you can only get from him that will really whiten your smile by a few shades. If you are very upset about stains or damage, a professional session of teeth whitening can aid in changing the impact of the discoloration. For a lot of people this is a good choice because it is fast, efficient and durable. In oral care, hydrogen peroxide is used quite often. This is the stuff that comes in the brown bottle, not the clear bottle. Hydrogen peroxide has many uses in the home including for the cleaning and sterilization of wounds. By mixing hydrogen peroxide and water in equal parts you get an excellent mouthwash that is fabulous in fighting cavities and reducing infection. If you brush it on your teeth it does wonders to whiten them. You have to pay special attention that you don't swallow the solution and that you got the quantities right of hydrogen peroxide and water. Wash your mouth out well after using it. This stuff is great for killing infections and whitening teeth but it will wreak havoc on your internal system.

If at all possible, always drink plenty of water. Water will help to get rid of any left over food that may have been left from meals or from snacks. You will also find the benefit of being more hydrated. It's best to drink water over all other beverages, including tea, coffee, juice and soda. This will only make you healthier. That's not to mention the fact that there is zero chance that water will stain your teeth, which can't be said for most of those other beverages. The more water you take in, the more those stains from all those dark drinks will disappear. Nobody wants to have a discolored or stained smile. Thankfully there are a lot of things that you can do to make your smile pretty again. No one should be ashamed to smile ear to ear. You can employ the teeth whitening ideas in this answer immediately. With a little research you will surely find many more ideas that you can implement to help you recover your bright, white smile. The great thing is that you can fix staining and discoloring. Be prepared to proudly show the world your teeth!

Hello, If the enamel has been damaged it's unlikely you will achieve any successful degree of whitening, especially one that would last for any length of time. If the enamel is badly damaged you run a serious chance of decay that could lead to extraction's if not taken care of ASAP. You may find that to achieve the whitening you want, while at the same time protecting the teeth, you may need to have porcelain veneers placed over the front of the teeth or possibly full crowns. In any event you need to see a dentist for an exam and evaluation before further damage takes place. Good luck and I wish you well.
