Question: My dog ate my retainer!!!!!!!! will i need braces again?! (pics of teeth included)?
Ive had my braces off for a little more than a year. About a month ago i couldnt find my retainer where i normally put it, and i looked down and saw that there was a little trail of chewed up stuff...my dog had eaten it. im positive of that. im scared to go to the orthodontist because i feel like my orthodontist is going to say im going to need braces again..

Get to the goddamn orthodonist as soon as possible. It doesn't take them very long to make you a new retainer, but if you go more than few days without it, YOU WILL NEED TO GET BRACES AGAIN. Make sure you get in there TOMORROW, don't let them tell you that they can't take you. I had this happen to me (not dog, but it was damaged), and I let them schedule me on Thursday and fix it when I had broken it Sunday. They had the audacity to tell me that I should have made it clear what the problem was when they called, even though I did.

You won't NEED braces again, your teeth aren't completely perfect but teeth aren't supposed to look like piano keys we in the USA just think they do. Probably you didn't even NEED braces in their first place but that's neither here nor there.
