Need two teeth extracted, and 2 catvities filled..How to stop the mindnumbing pa!

Question: Need two teeth extracted, and 2 catvities filled..How to stop the mindnumbing pain now??!!!!?
My teeth are in very bad pain, now i went to an emergancy dentist and they said my wisdom teeth have decayed, and i have 2 cavties in my front teeth (i can only really feel one wisdom tooth hurting).
Now since, i don't have a dentist, so i had to regiter first and i have an appointment in a week, but its killing me now.
I've aready had antibotitcs, and a tempaory tooth filling by the dentist, so idk if i call again for an emergancy appointment, they can actually do anything.

My question is, my tooth hurts alot more at night. I've heard it may be because im grinding my teeth. How do i stop this?
Also, how much is 2 tooth extractions and 2 fillings going to cost me with a HC1 form? (im a student and i don't work).

I've stopped eating any sugar for over a month now, i've been taking strong paractimal, using temparay filler, clove oil, bascially anything i can find that helps tooth ache, but it still kills, is there anything more i can do to stop the pain until 1-2 weeks when i get these teeth sorted?

Ibuprofen may help, but don't use it 12 hours prior to your appointment for the extraction. You can try OTC codeine, or ask the dentist to prescribe you something stronger until your appointment.

warm salted water could do the trick mate just gargle it in your mouth and the spit it out like mouthwash hope this helps :)

I let my sore teeth soak in brandy until they are completely numb. This is a ghetto or poor mans anesthetic for tooth pain.

On your HC certificate it will tell you how much you pay and what NHS pay, or it may say exempt from all costs which means you pay zero. In your circumstances I would say you are fully exempt and will pay nothing. Different dentists charge different prices for fillings and extractions if you end up paying so ask them but I am 99% sure you don't need to pay. Taking strong paracetamol such as cocodamol along with Ibuprofen such as Nurofen together will help the pain. Take them every 4 hours until you get an appointment. Toothache is worse at night as you are lying down flat and the blood supply is going up fast to your top area of the body, causing the throbbing ache on the teeth, try sitting propped up slightly with pillows.
