Non-Profit Dental Clinics?!

Question: Non-Profit Dental Clinics?
Okay, so I was searching the internet for some low cost/free dental clinics in my city of Orlando, Florida, because I have VERY BAD teeth and I dont have any Medicaid to help cover my dental costs. A page popped up with a list of "non-profit" dental clinics in and around Orlando. I was wondering, does non-profit mean that I wont have to pay anything for my dental services or what? Also, I was wondering, how limited are the services of these non-profit clinics? I have extensive tooth decay and very bad tooth aches on a regular basis, so Im sure I will need numerous extractions as well as fillings. I am 17 years old and uninsured if these factors help anybody answer my questions.

Professional answers or personal accounts greatly appreciated thank you ;)

Non-profit does not mean it is free. You still have to pay for their time, expertise, and materials used in fixing your teeth. Check out this site: http://freedentalcare.com/ Be sure to read the fine print.

You are a minor, the dental office will need your parents permission to get the dental care you need.

If you are going to college that has a dental program, sometimes they do dental work on their students for a fraction of the cost because dental students do the work. You may also want to look into going to a dental school for help on your teeth, but you will still have to pay.
