Im having laser gum surgery on next tuesday. Will it hurt?!

No it won't hurt. You'll have local atheistic so you won't feel a thing. You might smell the burning of the gum tissue but i'm sure they'll be fine. Take your ipod or mp3 etc in with you. That way you can't hear any of the tools going. Recovery time will depend on each individual however with the right after care I'm sure it'll be fine in a few days. Make sure that you rinse with salt and warm water to get rid of any bacteria around the wound.
If they have not told you that you're having general atheistic then i'm positive that you're probably going to have local which means you;ll be awake. This is a good thing as it means the recovery time will be shorter. Don't bite the dentist they are only trying to help. Good luck :)
