Question: Is it normal for my tooth to hurt after my root canal?

Earlier in the morning I got a root canal because I broke my tooth in half a bit ago and the filling came out. Is it normal to feel pain after this?

If you just got the root canal this morning, then yes, it is normal. Your teeth just had a huge change inside. So it will hurt a little. You can take some ib profrin or advil. Your dentist should have explained this to you too. So it is ok to call and ask questions. Better safe than sorry! ;) Hang in there.

is it aching again as it did before hand? If its been over a week then it shouldn't hurt, any time before that and i think it might...

they did mine without anaesthetics so it hurt so bad for about a week.
