is 6 months left in braces too early to tell I won't be satisfied with the !

Question: Is 6 months left in braces too early to tell I won't be satisfied with the results?
I will get my braces off in 6 months and only wore them for a year. I am happy at the fact I only get to wear them one year but as of now the top teeth are really straight and all but they are still slightly slanted and not parallel with my eyes , nose, lips, etc. But it is still really noticeable. And what I don't understand is why my orthodontist is still making me put elastics on both sides. different sizes but same stretches ( the bigger one stretches farther in a line but the smaller one stretches in a small triangle) But still is 6 months too early for teeth to be perfect? and the bottom teeth he arranged the brackets in a way that doesn't line up in the same proportion like on 1 of the four front bottom teeth the bracket is lower than the tooth of that same kind on the opposite side.. Now it has a bigger white space above the bracket than the other tooth. So it makes the wires and brackets look straight but the teeth are still slanted. How can I tell my orthodontist to rearrange the brackets in a polite way? thanks

Answers:

You will be fine, it take time for your teeth to be perfect. If get it off early then your teeth might shift back a little bit and sometime it could cause your gum on your teeth to hurt a little bit. Rubber band is last thing for the brace process. Rubber band average is a month to 3 or 4 month if wear it all time. If don't wear the rubber band very much then it will keep adding another month to a year if not wear all time.
