Question: Alternatives to flossing with fixed retainers?

I have a fixed retainer on the bottom, I used the threading thing my orthodontist gave me but it's really annoying. Is there anything else I can use? I heard good stuff about the gum soft picks

i have also fixed retainers on the bottom but my orthodontist did not give me any threading thing he only suggest me a orthodontic brush and a mouth wash ..............and i am ok with that
