Question: What the reason engaylish people have bad teeth ? cant they do something about it ?
Answers:

Well, I'm an American living in the UK, so I have experienced both sides of this personally. I'm not trying to be prejudiced, people in the US usually have better teeth because of better education & a better diet & more access to dental insurance through their employers. Even the ones that don't have dental insurance generally have better teeth. It's true people in the UK's teeth aren't as bad as they are made out to be, because of changes in the NHS. I've gone to a NHS dentist many times & although I'm extremely grateful to have been treated, as it is with anything, you get what you pay for. The dentists are rushed & their work isn't as thorough, but I'm sure it's because of the higher-ups. It's still not totally free & this is a poor country & you still have to have the minimum payment. Some stereotypes are true, I'm afraid, but things are better in the UK, when it comes to teeth. In the States or the UK, people on TV & in films have veneers a lot of the time or at least go to private dentists, so they don't have naturally perfect teeth. I also think your misspelling is intentional & ignorant.

In answer to anybody who thinks that you only get nice white straight teeth from veneers...most normal people in the US can't afford veneers eithers, which is near the top level of dental treatment when it comes to cost. There are things such as braces & teeth whitening, which is much more common in the US among the general population. I've never looked, but do they even have tooth-whitening strips at Boots? A lot people in the US use them as a regular part of dental care or as something to do for their teeth, in-between trips to the dentist for teeth bleaching.

Hello
I am English and have good teeth and look after them very well. I go and see my dentist every 6 months and I see a private dentist. He is not much dearer than going to the NHS. Some English people have bad teeth and do not look after them very well but some do take pride in their teeth. People in America in general have better teeth in my view. It seems everyone on TV has veneers now which makes people with normal teeth( like me) look not so good. Veneers make people's teeth look perfect and white. But I cannot afford veneers and as you have to replace them every 10 years do not want the ever ending cost of them. Not many English people have veneers at all. I noticed when I went to Miami for a holiday many people had them.

Guess that is where the English have bad teeth saying comes from. We do not have pure white perfect teeth from veneers. But people are making more effort now in the UK with their teeth.

Cheers

myself

I think thats quite insulting, saying a whole race of people have got bad teeth,im british and have fantastic teeth, also i got reported once for saying a****** was full of people who ate junk food and had a high obesity rate, apparently i was wrong so i suggest you take more care with your wording in your questions otherwise answers will deduct points off you and send you a grumpy email giving you a slap on the wrist.

eerm, actually I'm english and my teeth are in good condition. Just we have the nhs over here so if anything we're more likely to have good strong teeth because we dont have to pay through the nose for dental treatment. In fact its free! woo!

Actually, in England people have access to free dental care under the NHS. The stereotype regarding bad teeth is both outdated and false!

Its pronounced English douche.
And lots of English people have nice teeth!
Robert pattinson suure he's scruffy.
But has nice teeth and lots more.

If you're from England, how come your grammar is so bad? As for teeth, that's an over-generalisation.

Not quite out of the closet yet are you?
Stop dressing up in mummy's clothes in the dark and step out.

Maybe some, but definitely not all English. They actually have good set of teeth to me.
