Question: Uk-do braces cost money if you are 18 and in full time education?

i want a brace for my front 2 teeth and my dentist said it would cost money....i thought not?!

and anyone know roughly how much?? its only for 2 teeth

I think it may be a case of do you want or need a brace?
I had a brace when I was 18 as I had a very bad overbite which affected how I ate. I did not have to pay for this(12years ago)

Your dentist may have said you have to pay for it if he doesn't feel you NEED it but want it for cosmetic reasons.
