Will getting braces make my mouth look weird?!

Question: Will getting braces make my mouth look weird?
I might need braces and I have a dimple in my chin. I'm very insecure about it already, and I'm afraid if I get braces that it'll enhance the butt in it? haha. Like, I dont want it to make it bigger. I was wondering if it would, because thats the last thing I need. Also, if it makes your lips bigger. But please let me know if it'll make my butt chin seem bigger? Thanks for your time :)

Answers:

Dont worry about it. Braces tend to make your lips stick out a little further out, thus making your chin fade a little. Im 19 with braces and also have a butt chin but the braces mame me look better. Just be confident and smile, even with braces : )

Me

I don't think so it will affect your dimple.
Braces do make me a ll hard to pronounce and speak sometimes since i just gotten them around 1 week ago. now i already get used to it, just i need more time to practice with my speaking. lol
and when i speak, i feel like my saliva keep on coming to my teeth and i feel nasty. but when i talk in front of mirroe, i just look fine. haha. and what awkward is that, EVERYONE will look at your mouth when you speak and that is just AWKWARD. and yes, they do make my lips look slightly bigger. :D

I didn't notice any changes when I had my braces on. Any small change is worth it though, after you get your teeth fixed your jaw and everything will look a alot nicer. My upper row of teeth used to be a little protruding and after removing my braces my mouth looked less 'pouty' yay! I still think my mouth sticks out too much though.

Had my braces removed almost 2 yrs ago!

Hey! I have braces and a dimple in my chin, lol! Nope, it didn't make my dimple more noticeable! Don't worry about it! :)

hahahha i have a but chin too its not that but but its there and it didnt make it worse but it did make my lips bigger

I've had braces it didn't make my face look different.

PS your teeth and chin cleft are in no way linked.

No it wont. In some cases, taking out last two teeth's make their cheeck bones more prominent.....a plus plus.

maybe,but i think yes.
