Question: Talking with a Bite Plate?
I got braces on the top last month, and I got a bite plate put in today. I talk with a lisp now how long does this last? and is there anyway I can make it go away faster!?
Answers:
It goes away after about seven days, talk as much as possible to speed this up. If you find it embarrassing to talk to other people when you have a lisp then get a book and read it aloud this will help and also really concentrate on saying words containing an 's'. Practice saying all these words and it will speed up your lisp going away(: good luck:)
