Can salt and cold water mixed together stop the bleeding of a pulled out tooth?!

Question: Can salt and cold water mixed together stop the bleeding of a pulled out tooth?
My cousin in going to the dentist to get her last baby tooth removed due to an infection. The last time she had a tooth pulled out, she couldn't eat for 6 hours and she ate 12 meals!
She almost fainted from hunger.

I do not want it to happen again, so can salt and cold water mixed together stop the bleeding of a pulled out tooth?

Answers:

hi salt water wont stop it bleeding but will aid in the healing of the wound you should out some gauze on the wound and bite down on it to stop bleeding also drinking milk will stop bleeding in the mouth wether it be from having a tooth out or an injury to the mouth, dont just not eat cause as you said this can make you feel ill eat some soup or weetabix ceral anything soft that doesnt require a lot of chewing.

She should eat something about and hour before she goes in and then stick to soft foods after the bleeding stops. The salt water rinse is to help with healing, the only way to stop the bleeding is for it to stop on it's own with clotting.

liquid diet bro then jam gauze in the wound
